Tropical Storm Philippe is expected to move northeast over South Florida, with the most severe conditions remaining to the east of South Florida’s populations centers. At this time, no disruptions to normal NSU operations are anticipated.

Due to Hurricane Maria, the Puerto Rico Regional Campus remains closed until further notice. The Colleges of Pharmacy and Education are evaluating curricula updates. Students affected by the hurricane do not need to be concerned about missing coursework; plans will be made to accommodate the extraordinary circumstances.

Nova Southeastern University continues to closely monitor Hurricane Maria. Maria is a very dangerous storm, and much of Puerto Rico is without power or cellular service. All students, faculty and staff members in Puerto Rico should be fully prepared and sheltered in place at this time. The Puerto Rico Regional Campus will remain closed until further notice. After the storm, when safe, students should check with their professors regarding make-up classes. Check back daily for updates about the campus.
